Pirates Defeat Kingz 133-117; Extend Winning Streak to 4.

December 11, 2023 (Providence, RI) - Happy Monday Pirates fans! The #14 ranked Pirates defeated the NH Kingz in Manchester, NH on Saturday 12/9, 133-117. The team hit the road winners of three straight contests and looked to stay hot and extend their winning streak to 4 straight.
Going into the second quarter, the Pirates were trailing 35-33. After regaining the lead, the team took off with their lead and continued to extend. The Pirates shot well from 2-pt range shooting over 56% as a team. Tom Garrick Jr, Kevin Briggs and Shane DaRosa led the team in scoring as the trio combined for 79 points.

Our Player of the Game was Tom Garrick Jr! This is Tom's first selection on the season as our player of the game. Tom continues to flash his dynamic 2-way play as he scored 34 points while shooting 14-22 from the field and securing 9 rebounds falling one short of a double-double.

Kevin Briggs also had an impressive game. Not only scoring 23 points, Briggs secured his third double-double of the season while also collecting a season, and career high 22 rebounds. Alongside Briggs, Armani Baker also had a double-double in the victory over the Kingz with 10 and 12.
